Although the bad weather, the 2009 Motor Show exhibition, set from the 4th to the 8th of December at BolognaFiere, have reported a huge flow of public. The invitation to play with the 2 wheels and the 4 wheels (the official slogan was “COME AND PLAY”) has been very appreciated by the public which crowded the exhibition gates early in the morning despite the rain and the cold temperatures. More than 450.000 visitors have visited the 34th edition of the Motor Show throughout the 5 days enjoying the competitions and the previews related to the latest models.
Even the Doctor Glass stand (LCR Honda MotoGP Team Official Supporter) set inside the Team Hospitality structure for the second year, has been crowded by 2500 persons. A huge number of friends, fans and collaborators, met the Doctor Glass staff at pavilion 36 enjoying the nice hospitality thanks to the good food, the smiles and the friendly but professional atmosphere. Amongst the visitors even the LCR Team Manager Lucio Cecchinello who was there last Saturday to meet the fans and to take pictures aboard Randy de Puniet’s Honda RC212V. Unfortunately the Frenchman is still recovering from the last operation of the left ankle and was not able to attend the exhibition.
Lucio Cecchinello: “I have been visiting the Motor Show exhibition from many years and although the 2009 edition has been shorter than the past ones, the public was very warm and this is very positive! People, especially the young, like the motor field and they have got a huge passion for 2 wheels and 4 wheels sports. It is a pity that Randy could not join us this year but he is still recovering from the last operation and he is proceeding with his rehabilitation programme. The Doctor Glass staff have managed the event in the best way once again and we are happy to work with them in this special and renowned occasion”.
